Keragaman kinerja pegawai pada aparatur sipil negara di satuan kerja sekretariat jenderal kementerian keuangan



This study aimed to describe the differencies in job performance among civil
employess of Secretary General at Finance Ministry of the Republic of Indonesia.
Job performance and its differencies were described according to six
characterisctics, namely work units, level of employee carreer, structural position
of employees, gender, age, and educational level. This study applied a descriptive
type of research. Data were collected from 174 respondents. The result of research
indicated that job performance of employess of Secretary General was in the highest
category. Task performance was the aspect of performance with the highest score
and adapative performance at the second place. The scores of contextual
performance and counterproductive behavior consecutively came out at the third
and the last place. Employees with lower scores at contextual performance and
counterproductive behavior were employees in working units with limited
interaction with external stakeholders, non-structural employees, holding postgraduate education, more than 50 years old of age, and male employess. This results
can be useful as a starting point of further research to investigating the factors
behind the performance lackings and finding creative ways in managing job
performance.
