The determinants of entrepreneurial intention among undergraduate students of economics and business faculty (case study in perbanas institute jakarta) – Laporan Akhir Penelitian
The purpose of this study was to determine the influence of these factors in the theory of planned behavior; which includes Personal Attitude, Subjective Norm, Perceived Behavioral Control or Self-Efficacy, and Perceived Entrepreneurship Education toward Entrepreneurial intentions of undergraduated students in Jakarta Perbanas Institute. The population used in this study was students at Jakarta Perbanas Institute who have been and are following the entrepreneurial course in the even semester of 2017/2018. Sampling techniques purporsive sampling with a total sample of 100 respondents.
The data collection used questionnaires methods, while the multiple linear regression analysis was used as an analytical technique. Research results show that Personal Attitude, Subjective Norm, and Perceived Entrepreneurship Education affects Entrepreneurial intentions and while Self-efficacy no significant effect on Entrepreneurial intentions.
Because entrepreneurship education is perceived to be the most dominant influence on student interest to entrepreneurship then the university are expected to become a driving force in improving the entrepreneurship education and student self-efficacy to improve the entrepreneurial intentions.
