The popular crowdfunding websites in Indonesia are the donation-based and the reward-based funding types. Donation-based crowdfunding is a crowdfunding whose funders will not get any return from the money they deposit. This research focused on donation-based crowdfunding, and based on the most popular donation-based crowdfunding website in Indonesia “kitabisa.com”. In the last three years, 2014 -2016, kitabisa.com has seen an incredible increase in total donations, which has increased by 53.8 billion by 2015 to 2016. The one of successfully factor of donation-based crowdfunding is because of the rapid spread of information through social media, especially instagram and facebook. The fact there are many initiators do not report the use of funds that have been collected in a transparent manner, could made the crowdfunding segment will face failure and disappointment, even some cases of fraud. Kitabisa.com has a slogan that consists of easy, transparent, and accountable. These are reflected in the campaign's project page. However, once the project is running, project accountability should be reflected in the project page to make it more transparent. The survey results stated that 83.3% strongly agree that the transparency is necessary in donation-based crowdfunding, and the indicator reflected at campaign's main page.
