Abstract
This paper explains the influence of promotion and distribution costs toward sales performance of SGM-3 milk at PT Sari Husada Tbk. By using ratio data of bthose three variables, during the last five years, calculated monthly, it can be concluded that cost of distribution has stronger influence significantly on sales performance rather than cost of promotion. In adition, both of the independent variables have positif influence on sales performance. In order to improve the value of sales performance, it is suggested that the company should concerns on distribution activities rather than doing promotion. Many researchers inform that there are many variables influence sales performance. So that, this paper has several weaknesses due to of using only two variables independent and number of observation which are analysed.
