Purpose: The purpose of this empirical study conducted to determine the factors influencing student academic performance in IT Faculty- Perbanas Institite Jakarta. Methods: Discriminant Analysis as main statistical analysis method were used in this study. Results: The results of the analysis in this study, formed a discriminant function Y = - 4.209 + 0.283x1 + 2.147x3. The results of the validation > 50% indicates that the discriminant function formed otherwise appropriate to classify the Student Academic Performance. Conclusion: Student Academic Performance in the case study students of the Faculty of Information Technology Perbanas Institute, using discriminant analysis was influenced by factors duration of study and student family environmental factors.
