Trend to utilize a Content Management System (CMS) is increasing, especially for organizations that start utilizing the website to introduce the business. Behind the convenience in the use of the CMS we should be concern about a system security, because this application is a product created by software industry. This research was conducted with the main objective to analyze vulnerabilities system of content management system (CMS).
The Research Objects are Document Management System (DMS) and Learning Management System (LMS). The target of this research focus on security of the web server and security of application only.
The results of this study indicate that the weakness of the application Content Management System (CMS) are caused by the human factor such as system administrator. Weaknesses in the CMS directly caused by using old version or not updated yet by user
