SMS or Short Message Service is a means of communication that is still used by
many people who use mobile phones. SMS is a short message service which consists of 160 characters that is sent between mobile users. SMS is not only used to send messages between users who already know each other, but also used by those who are not known for offering a wide range of products and services. Recently, SMS has been also used for actions that are not appropriate even lead to criminal acts. SMS unwanted by the recipient categorized as spam or junk SMS. To filter incoming SMS to the user's inbox SMS, spam filter can be made. One of algorithm to filter SMS is Naive Bayes classifier algorithm. By using a spam filter with this algorithm is expected to be used to filter incoming SMS to the user's inbox.
