This research was motivated by an increase in economic growth but not all banks experienced an increase in profitability, especially in rural banks. BPR is a bank that serves micro, small and medium entrepreneurs. The main problems in BPR are obstacles in the decision-making process because there are often mismatches of customers who get credit with the criteria and weight values determined by the bank, the length of submission of decision reports to the bank leadership, the process of determining the decision of prospective credit recipients, and increasing credit potential. stuck due to economic uncertainty. For this reason, this study aims to determine how the effect of Capital Adequacy Ratio, Cost Efficiency, and Liquidity on Profitability at Conventional BPR in Bekasi City for the 2012-2021 Period.
The sampling method used in this study is a purposive sampling method in which the sampling method is based on certain criteria. Samples that meet the criteria in this study were 12 banks. The analysis used is panel data regression analysis to see the effect of the independent variable on the dependent variable both jointly and individually. The model chosen is the Fixed Effect Model. The results of data analysis or regression results show that simultaneously CAR, BOPO, and LDR have an effect on ROA. Partially the variables that have a significant negative effect on ROA are BOPO, and those that have no effect on ROA are CAR and LDR. The magnitude of the coefficient of determination (Adjusted R Squared) is 0.708310. This means that 70.83 percent of the dependent variable, namely ROA can be explained by three independent variables, while the remaining 29.17 percent of ROA is explained by other variables or factors outside the model.
