Exposure to Hazardous Effects at Work and Resulting Company’s Performance

Based on the Millennium Development Goals, worker safety and health is a benchmark for economic development. In line with the increase in development which involves the exploitation of natural resources or the use of chemicals, the negative effects that arise are felt by workers. This study shows that there are several relationships between Age, Gender, Working Years and Department on the Hazards effect. The findings of age with the hazards effect state, that ages 2030 years of age, the effects of hazards effects such as heat, noise are very felt. Increasing age, especially over 50 years, the influence of noisy heat begins to decrease. The findings of Working Years also state that the longer you work at the company, the effects that are routine in nature, such as heat, noise, are increasingly neglected, but the bad effects of chemicals are very strong. The findings on departmental variables and hazards effects are very strong at the level of work that is directly in the production sector. Thus efforts to improve health and routine checks for workers are a necessity in order to maintain the continuity of company operations.
